As I mentioned in a previous post , I am starting to branch out in a slightly new direction alongside training to become a Saddler. It won’t replace my Saddler business but instead will provide me with an extra income to pay the bills whilst I transfer from one day job to another.
At present I work during the day as a PA in the corporate world however, I will be adapting towards a more challenging role supporting businesses on a Freelance Virtual basis, working mainly with equine and rural based businesses under the name: The Rural VA.
So for those of you that have no idea what a Virtual Assistant is Entrepreneur.com describe it as the following:
“…Most virtual assistants are contract or freelance workers who do their jobs from home and focus on administrative tasks that are similar to those of an executive assistant, [PA] or secretary…”
A Virtual Assistant (VA) will carry out tasks any business office demands as long as you provide them with the right access to IT software, networks and resources to undertake the job required; as long as there is Wi-Fi there is a way! ;D
The following list of tasks are typical, but not limited to what a Virtual Assistant is often asked to do:
- Call Handling
- Email Management
- Diary Management
- Social Media Management
- Finance Management
- Website Design/Support
- Online Research
- Database Management
- Document Creation
Feel free to message me at The Rural VA if you have any further questions about Virtual Assistants.
